Fire guts property worth Rs 1 million

RAJBIRAJ , APR 03 -A fire that broke out in Badebasain VDC, Saptari on Monday night gutted property worth one million rupees.

Four houses including two houses of Ramrati and two that of neighbour Bijalai Ram were completely destroyed in the fire that spread suddenly from the kitchen room of Ramrati Ram, a local of Badebasain-9.

The fire gutted cash, jewelries, clothes, rice, paddy and other food grains inside the home, said victims. Locals and police joined hands to douse the fire, police office said. RSS
